Pure Greed and Entitlement!
Provincial Court judges are suing the provincial government for refusing to accept a pay-hike recommendation. Not much sympathy from me for this pack of overpaid, self-indulgent thieves who get over $200k annually with benefits as it is. I hope the courts toss this case out as having no standing in law. After all, the commission in question only made a recommendation. Is there some binding contract that says the Provincial Treasury has to act to give these guys parity with other civil servants who are climbing the ladder of public entitlement. At best, I might consider supporting a modest salary increase conditional on them cleaning up the logjam of court cases throughout the province. Otherwise, no dice!
